Auditioning for Arabesque Dance Company

From time to time and according to need, Arabesque Dance Company holds auditions in order to discover possible apprentices, both male and female. Sometimes the company will need artists with a particular skill for only one production. If a dance artist is found to be very versatile, he or she may become a lead dancer and thus needed for all productions.

If you are interested in joining Arabesque Dance Company and there is no audition scheduled for the near future, you may inquire with the artistic director [Yasmina Ramzy]. Participating in the Arabesque Professional Course or taking a Skills Assessment will give you a good idea of whether you have the potential for the company or not.

Note: Dance Artists of Arabesque Dance Company are paid at professional rates for all commercial performances but are not always paid in full for performances of a more artistic nature. Members receive discounts on all Arabesque events and merchandise. All costumes for performances are supplied by Arabesque. The biggest benefit of working with Arabesque is the huge learning opportunity it offers working under the guidance of Yasmina Ramzy, Bassam Bishara, and Dr. George Sawa. Almost all Arabesque dance artists have gone on to be exceptional, well-known solo artists in great demand and/or directors of their own companies and schools.
