One - week intensive for graduates of the Arabesque PRO COURSE

Since 2001, Pro Course graduates have hailed from Japan, Mexico, Austria, China, Portugal, Hungary, Panama, Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Great Britain and across Canada and the United States. They have gone on to be ambassadors of a comprehensive art form, replete with meaning, tradition and integrity.

Join this elite group of artists with 65 hours of in depth training from 10 master teachers, each experts in their fields of Stage Presence, Musicality, Choreography, Improvisation, Creativity, Showmanship, Character Portrayal, Marketing and History.

Arabesque Master Concert

Ten unique dance artists from across Canada and the United States, graduates of Master Pro Course perform with the Arabesque Orchestra in a theatrical setting.

The Arabesque Orchestra will also play some of its classical repertoire featuring Bassam Bishara (oud, vocals) and Suleiman Warwar (lead dumbek).

Contemporary & Classical Persian Dance

Learn technique & short combinations of Miriam Peretz's signature style of Persian dance which draws heavily from Persian Classical dance, and other Silk Road dance styles while also incorporating devotional themes found in Sufi poetry, whirling practices and a contemporary aesthetic and movement basis. Focus will be on upper body fluidity and grace, musicality, short combinations, and numerous techniques for turning.
